Are the speakers a lot more powerful in general? And what exactly is better? Is it more treble, midrange, etc.Įdit: Reading around, some reviews say while the Altec satellites are magnificent, the subwoofer is only mediocre. How is the subwoofer compared to the soundsticks. I sorta bought too quickly because I already ordered the soundsticks from Amazon, but now I saw dell is selling the altecs for only 150. Well actually by looking at pictures the altecs match the new mac aluminum look much more than the soundsticks. I tried troubleshooting but got no results. There are no driver issues as Altec lansing speakers don't need drivers(plug and play).
